Trade Review
Projection on this setup were all the wayside on point but the setup and continuation happened outside of my trading window.
The initial entry setup around 3 something yesterday while I was at the doctor's office so I didn't get in that trade. The follow on move happened during London and that means that I am not going to get to trade this set up.
This is okay that I miss it and it is helping with my confidence. All day and night I was thinking about my setup and how I could take them better.
One of the things that I was thinking about was how I take certain trades and manage others. I'm taking too much risk on trades that I haven't planned out and not enough risk or missing the trades that I do plan out altogether. So on the trades that I'm just seeing on the chart that have to do with simply price action and movement, I need to lower my risk on those trades and take a calculated risk on those setups, still taking them but understanding that they are outside of my thoughts on the overall move.
On the setups I plan out, if I'm on the charts, be patient and let them play out but take more risk on those trades or at least a higher calculated risk. If I'm not able to be on the charts, set my pending orders and just lower my risk on the trades so that I'm still getting pulled into the setup but not risking a bad loss, loss make my stop loss bigger on those that I set pending orders for.
I'll need to pay more attention to and start using more alerts as well
