Trade Review

5/11/24 $MNQ1! After the move up during the overnight sessions, we rejected the highs and sold off back down to the DOP. Who pretty much held right around the daily but couldn't get through it for the most part and we saw Price hang out around that area for most of the day. I did try to sell off on some LTF setups and that's kind of what got me. Price holding around that DOP pretty much got me. I tried to sell right as we rejected on the one minute chart 3 times. Each of the times that I tried to sell from the DOP, I was taken out. I was heavy on a few of those entries so I couldn't hold them for a long time because I went in with too much size on these trades. After the first two losses, I actually got on the right side and took a buy but at that point, I couldn't hold the trade because I taken too many losses and the system automatically stopped me out of the trade.

I took the final sale in my live account and it immediately went to my stop loss and also on this trade I went in with too much size on this as well. I went on tilt pretty much this entire week and blew my demo account, my funded accounts, and loss my gains for the week in my live account.

I have to question myself on my trades because I took on a lot of risk on trades that were not actually planned out, and the risk reward on these trades were much bigger than they should have been given that this was not something that had been planned properly.

When I finally saw the direction of the order flow, which was to the outside that is the trade that I should've taken. The buy was the trade that I should have taken in all of my accounts, and that trade actually hit my target. This trade would have probably put me up for the week and all of my accounts but I was not patient enough to wait for the set up.
