ES1! Long — 2024-12-31

We are trading inside of yesterday’s candle which was mostly bearish as it took the PDL and PWL. We didn’t get a rejection from a HTF D+Wk that kept us above the D+Wk(H) so we will need to see how we react to a potential daily rebalancing and there’s also a D+PG that’s now neutral 5996.25-6002. 

Buy Setup: There is a 4H/1H+FVG price is in the middle of creating as we speak. We could get a buy from here as the 1H+FVG range 5972.75-5957 (entry range) is being traded into already and the 4H+FVG still forming. There’s also +LP above the DH we could be trading into and within that D=PG range. If we do push up to those then we also push into the D-FVG range 6005.50-6114.25 where the D-FVG(L) 6005.50 being an (exit). 

Sell Setup: We would have to trade through the LTF FVG(s) from the 1H/4H charts and take out the Lows created over night. We would use the now =IFVG as the entry range 5972.75-5957 (entry range) and target the current DL, WL, and the D+Wk(M). The other scenario is that we immediately push up into the bearish -POI(s) without giving clean buy entry signals and we show rejection at the areas. We can then look for the sell setup from the D=PG range 5996.25-6002, D-FVG(L) 6005.50, or near the WOP 6028.50

Update as of 10:12am ****Took the buy setup within the 1H+FVG the move, pushed back down and took out my stop loss which was in profit already, but it never took out the high of the day and we’re sitting inside of the 1H+FVG. Initial SL was 7.50 points, below the recent low 5959, the adjusted SL was 5.75 points, after the low was made of 5960, the BE was 1.5 points at 5968, and the target was the 39 points, the D-FVG(L) 6005.50. At the failure of the high we maxed out at 13.25 points. We pushed below the SL and back inside and above the FVG so this looks like it was just a -LS and we could still be pushing higher but there isn’t a lot of volume being traded today which makes sense.
