Trade Review
1/26/25 $MES Sunday's open gapped down and began to trade to the down side. For some reason after seeing this I attempted to force a trade on the LTF with the idea that we were bullish and would return back in the gap to continue to the up side or reject within the gap. The time of day I took the trade was the first thing wrong. I can't remember the last time I took a trade on a Sunday night opening but I'm glad that this was a demo trade. Then after getting the following:
Price breached and we got a +CHOCH with a +FVG entry setup and we traded to the NDOG(L) as there was BSL (X).
There was at the time no consideration of the HTF bias, the time of day and the STH that had been made. The only thing that was done correctly is that the risk was handled properly and the initial pattern recognition.
If I was focus, this actually gave me the STH to setup the down side move with a -IFVG Manipulation Model Sell setup. There’s a gap down through all of the lows and we have a -FVG
Entry: 6079.75 SL: 6076.50 Target: 6089.50 Adjusted SL: None
