Trade Review
1/28/25 $MES Tuesday was a heavy news day and a late start after staying up very late the previous night before studying my trades and watching more ICT videos. I thought I'd trade but didn't necessarily want to push it too hard knowing my status of not having much sleep (stayed up until 5:20am).
The setup came about as the over night session left the Asian/Sydney high as the BSL for the day. It was swept during the NY opening session and this gave the conditions for the -IFVG Manipulation Model for a sell and reached the STL target as expected, then immediately trigger a secondary +IFVG Manipulation Model setup for a buy. The buy took price higher and continued to push well above the trading range to take out HTF targets. Definitely a missed opportunity on both trades, however, it is more important to me to confirm my trading model at the moment that to actually trade. I know at the end of the day that if I am confident in my strategy and trust that I've done the work to consistently deploy it, I will make the money I am going to make by focusing on building my systems.
