Trade Review
2/6/25 $MES: Today was an interesting day because the trade that I initially set up was based off of a +IFVG MM setup and that ran, but it didn’t pull me in initially. Once you didn’t pull me in, I deleted the pending order and looked for a different set up. That setup was a little higher, which was going to be inside of the midnight candle range and that was at 6098 and also based on a LTF +IFVG MM. This trade pulled me in, but once it pulled me in, it went to stop loss immediately and went further down into the initial area. I took another trade based off of the initial set up and I went in a profit. It didn’t take the high out, so I thought that I was looking for a close within the midnight candle range and then move my SL up but I didn’t get the close inside of the range then price actually reversed and took out the STL inside of the NDOG. Then price came back to my initial entry now it’s finally running up to what my expectations were but today was choppy. I took three trades altogether. Took two buys and I actually took one sell. The sale was totally wrong. I quickly closed that out because I noticed that I was about to go on tilt so I didn’t wanna lose trades today that I didn’t need to or take a loss bigger than I needed to. My losses is totaled up to my average loss so I’m not mad at the loss. I showed patience with my setups but could’ve but I am glad that I was clear in cutting my losses. Today was just choppy going into tomorrow’s NFP so we’ll be back on the charts tomorrow and see what we can get.
Entry: 6098, 6094.25, 6091 SL: 6086, 6088.50, 6094.50 Target: 6107, 6117.25, 6069 Adjusted SL: None
