Working Thesis

Gold (XAUUSD)

3/31/25 $GOLD Today didn’t give much of a move as DXY held this gave Gold room to expand higher.  There as a NWOG and the price did a slight retracement in the Asian/Sydney session and nothing but runs higher.  The D Wick that we were looking at to us as support was traded through easily.  Now we’ll look at the NDOG levels and still look at the D Wick(M) 3110.4 area as well.  There was a push above Friday’s PDL and we closed in the D Wick (T3) and the NDOG was triggered near the area as the MOP for April pushes us higher.

MES1!

3/31/25 $MES Price gapped down as expected on the Sunday opening and went to which the YL already.  I was expecting this but not immediately on the weekly opening.  We also got the bounce off the YL as expected as well and went also pushed up a bit higher than I expected as well.  The D-FVG was created, we traded back into the inverted NDOG from 12-13 March so I want to see this range hold up as resistance as we trade higher to into the D-FVG to reject lower.  We also have the NWOG to hold as support as well to keep us higher since we have inverted it. We also gapped to the downside on but I won’t include because it overlaps the 12-13 gap.  The daily path is still in line and still trading as expected so we can potentially ok to hold within yesterday’s candle to set the DL inside of today’s candle and push higher from there.  Once we push higher there will be a rejection once we make the DH.   Additional note: We also have a LTF-Breaker to consider near the PDH and the W+FVG(T3) 5683.75 which lines up with the 5690 level.

MNQ1!

3/31/25 $MNQ We gapped down and immediately went to our weekly target area so this doesn’t void it but it does mean that there could be a potential EQL setting up.  The D-FVG was created and the candle for today’s opening gapped near the NWOG(M) and the low of the day so far is sitting near the levels.  We will also sit need to consider the D+Wick created from Monday’s candle as well.  I want to see if we trade into the newly created D-FVGand reach the 12-13 March NDOG inverted gap like we did on ES.  The daily projections are still in line with the expected path as the move holds for the weekly move.  We hold at the moment holding near the PYL and this area may be a level in which we could see that if we remain heavy we could see that price hold below this area.

DXY

3/31/25 $DXY Today price pushed up off of the 4H+FVG mentioned and holding above the WOP.  As of now ,tomorrow looks like we may hold above the FVG but it doesn’t take away from my bias as the news will eventually be the driver.  We rejected the D-FVG(L) 104.392 and still holding below the levels so this is still showing a possibility that we could invert the 4H+FVG if we move lower.  We did take out Friday’s PDL but for the most part price held sideways and this gave all the pairs in correlation and inverse the chance to move on it’s own.  We saw gold in particular run without cut room for a retracement.  Tomorrow, in order to switch short-term bias we would need to see that the PWL from last week is traded above.
