Gold (XAUUSD) No Trade — 2025-04-07

4/7/25 $MGC Took this using the FootPrints setup, MOC, and a -IFVG MM Setup. This was the trade I actually planned out and I went in with light risk and took the setup based on the movement with DXY. We had -100% imbalances through out the MOC range and price had taken the low out and returning back into the range. I used this as a chance to enter my first 2 micros and we traded near another -100% imbalance for the next 2 micros. I took on a little heat on this one because dollar kind of stalled out and I could have added on again but we were already close to my [amount redacted]-[amount redacted]loss limit. I sat my SL just above a new -100% imbalance and walk the SL down as we got closer to my entry and eventually into profits. I partialed near the low on 3 micros and held the last one until we took it out completely. I could still be in but I am happy with these results for a Monday.
